Constellation Large Wallpack
Constellation Large Wallpack Can be mounted as an up light or down light UL wet location listed with a silicone gasket for moisture and dust proof protection. This fixture inclludes a high impact heat resistant borosilicate glass for optimum light distribution. 1/2" aperatures for installing conduit and or photcell installation. Wallpacks feature bronze powder coated cast aluminum housings with anodized aluminum reflectors and borosillicate glass refractors.This also features a hinged door frame for easy bulb access. The compact and mini versions feature a prismatic polycarbonate lens with UV inhibitors to prevent discoloration. These fixtures are used in applications such as warehouse facilities, shipping, and receiving areas, cold storage facilities, industrial plants, and all other commercial buildings. High Pressure Sodium 430w Ballast only
The ballast is heavy duty to resist damage. This cooler running, heavy duty, commercial quality ballast is designed to last beyond the 5 year system warranty. The quieter noise reduced, industrial grade ballast is long lasting and trouble free. The cooler running extruded aluminum housing is designed to dissipate heat at an improved rate. Compare to sheet metal housings that get very hot to the touch and trap heat around the ballast that cause internal component failure. It is quieter, noise reduced ballast. The ballast utilizes a high tech heat sink, which doubles as the component enclosure housing. It is ETL listed for safe operation, rated for damp location, comes with a 6-foot power cord and has a 10-foot lamp cord. The heat-sink case or housing that holds the components is made from extruded aluminum. In the extrusion process fins are made. These fins help to transfer the heat from the transformer to the air without the need for air vents. You will find fins like these on high quality stereo gear and used there for the same purpose. You should also note that these ballasts have not been painted. The painting of the heat sink case or housing inhibits the heat transfer process dramatically. Other manufactures that paint their air vent free ballasts for cosmetic reasons run the risks of baking the components. Electrical components work better when they run cool. We will never paint our ballasts. Six feet of heavy-duty power cord and 10 feet of heavy-duty lamp cord are standard. The lamp cord comes complete with a mogul socket and assembly to attach to all reflectors. The socket is rated at 5kv and is universal.
