The Norway Pool Table by Northwoods Billiards incorporates the lodge look with the traditional-style pool table. The top rails and side skirts are constructed of ponderosa pine and the six-inch log legs are Norway pine. Notice that this table has smaller log legs. The top rails and side skirts don't have the typical "log" look but rather a more detailed wood design. Each log is hand-hewn using a drawknife so every table is unique. Northwoods Billiards' signature spotting point - a pine tree cut from black walnut - is embedded in the rail.The Norway's inner body is constructed of 0.75-inch seven-ply plywood. The top surface of the body is machined on a CNC (computerized router) for ease of assembly and to ensure the slate will lay flat and level. The inner body is then covered with ponderosa pine and hand-hewn for a rustic look. The tabletop is one-inch Brazilian slate.The log side rails are constructed of two-inch strips of knotty ponderosa pine and laminated together to ensure they will stand straight and true. Luxurious leather pockets accent the log rails. The Norway is available in six-foot seven-foot or eight-foot pool lengths in clear or honey pine finish.
